I’m Chinese so I eat white rice probably around 4 days a week.
Currently trying to lose fat.
Is there something I can do to prevent the spikes in my insulin, apart from eating less rice and eating more vegetables?
-This is mainly just at dinner time.

@CSQUAR3DsBaCk Heres the thing…if you gain muscle first(assuming you’re a dude) your body MUST burn fat in order to sustain the muscle…EAT ABOVE your maintenance calories, but do it cleanly…nothing but REAL FOOD with nutritional value, healthy fats and lean protein, whole grains, veggies(especially anything green). You will do fine, no. 1 thing is consistency and confidence.

@CSQUAR3DsBaCk Its very possible, especially for beginners or those heavily out of shape. However, when you’ve been working out for a while, it gets a lot harder (so much so that some people don’t believe its possible!). But trust me it is. I have lost weight and gained muscle. My biceps are definitely bigger than before (I measured) and I lost around 20 pounds in 6 months.
